The Lanier Baseball League was created in 2005 to provide an organized association, which provides competitive travel baseball in the North Georgia area. Our goal is to build a strong league program that will allow teams to compete at an advanced level within their geographical location. LANIER BASEBALL LEAGUE
GENERAL INFORMATION:
LBL rules will remain the same throughout the season. Age groups must follow the rules set specifically for their division.
There will be an Annual Organizational Meeting held in November of each year.
LBL schedules will be created at the January registration meeting.
Teams will play between 14-22 official league games. If teams choose to play more, their schedule may be adjusted to do so. However, standings will be determined by team record for the official games.
Hosting for LBL Championship Tournaments is open to all participating teams and organizations. If your team is interested in hosting please contact Angie Turner @ 770-652-7149.
The League website will be maintained, scores updated and standings posted on at least a weekly, but possibly a daily basis.
1st & 2nd place team and individual awards will be provided to league champions for each age group.
All issues related to the championship tournament will be decided and announced before the season begins, including brackets & gate fees.
All Championship Tournament hosts will be required to follow the same guidelines of gate/parking fees, posting & keeping brackets updated, coordinating rain outs, etc.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place team trophies will be awarded for each age group in the Championship Tournaments.
1st & 2nd place individual trophies will be awarded for each age group and division in the Championship Tournaments.
There will be an organized fall program, which is included in the registration fee.
All protests and rule violations will be address by league directors within 24 hours of notification.
