COACHES CERTIFICATION -
All head coaches must be certified through a program, such as NYSCA, Simply the
Best, etc… Coaches must have the certification before games begin in March.
NYSCA offers online Baseball Coaches certification that will satisfy the
coach’s certification requirement. For a small fee you can complete the
certification online at https://www.nays.org/nyscaonline/
The online
certification is a combination of reading and video followed by 2 tests based
on the content. The videos are not required, but if you do choose to watch
them, we have found that they run slow. You will find that the tests aren’t
real difficult and some of the questions do require that you’ve read the
material while other questions may be answered using reasonable judgment.
